TMK Grand Event

While in Washington, I met whom else but Watoad and Suffix!

{All pictures link to larger versions.}
{Pictures and movies taken on someone else's camera (and not by me) are noted in braces.}

It's déjà vu!

Yep! That's right! Yet another picture with the famous pose between the famous brick walls! I found it pretty challenging, but I managed to get up there. The flip flops were a bad idea.

I met Watoad on the day of my arrival. (Interestingly it was not awkward at ALL!) We had lunch and went to this park that has one of the best views of the Seattle skyline.

See what I mean? Hey, look, it's Watoad!

Lunch was at Red Robin.

Afterward, we went to UW's campus and hung out at his house for a while (several of you may remember us popping into the chatroom for a few seconds), but most of the afternoon was spent on a really nice tour he gave me of the campus.

Whoa, a giant bowling pin! Oh, and Watoad.

It's Narnia! Or Black Lake, I suppose...?

That evening I met up with an old friend of mine, whom I stayed with for the next few days.
On Sunday (5 days later), she and I went to Seattle, the arranged meeting spot for Watoad, Suffix, and us. We met up with Watoad first.

Watoad searches for me. Or "Sapphiralia", apparently. {Watoad}

Like, totally not funny. {Watoad}

It's never a dull moment with Watoad around! These pictures just crack me up too much to leave out.

Balloon hats and fountain fun later, it was time to meet Suffix in the food court.

Lunchtime hilarity! {Watoad}

Yes! Suffix being goofy!

Warp pipes! And look, the Space Needle's inside one! {Watoad}

Wii!

Booster Tower?

More fountainness! {Watoad}

After hanging out by (and in) the fountain for a while, the four of us headed for the Pacific Science Center. In it is this exhibit called GameOn!, which features... video games! This place had video games from probably every system ever made, many of them which were playable. It was basically like a giant arcade. Now THAT's what I call SCIENCE!

Hey, I know those guys!

A Mario drawing, Super Mario World, and a Sonic sketch.

Take a closer look at this drawing...

There wasn't much time left before Suffix had to leave, so the four of us spent the last half hour outside the exhibit in the outdoor area taking pictures, making videos, and hanging out.

Entertaining?!

PEEEEKABOO!!!

The weird hidden monkeys reveal themselves!

Mirrored posing! Suffix was standing oddly, so I decided to do the same for a picture.

Suffix jumping up and down "angrily" because we couldn't think of any good ideas for videos.

Sadly, it was time for Suffix to leave. We all said our goodbyes, then Watoad, my friend, and I headed back to the Science Center for more fun entertainmentness. Eventually the rest of us had to leave, too. But the Grand Event was not over; saying goodbye to my friend, Watoad and I then left for his family's house, where I stayed for the next few days.

One of the days was spent making videos while in the chatroom, watching videos Lizard Dude had mailed him, and playing board games. What a blast! (Really!)

Enter the Matrix ...er, chatroom. {Watoad}

Watoad is insane! {Watoad}

Scrabble! The best (funniest) ones are VIDGMQXR and MARIO with an upside-down W saying WOOT. Also, J_ (J.J.)'s placement has a reason. This whole thing took us at least a couple hours to do. {Watoad}

No thanks to Lizard Dude, Watoad constantly sang Dragostea Din Tei, the song from the "Numa Numa Dance" video, during my stay. Ridiculous amounts of hilarity, insanity, and references to cheese and Santa hats and knives later, the day came to switch back to my friend's house. The three of us met at University Village in Seattle, where we ate dinner and walked around for a few hours. (Sorry, I forgot to take a picture. I had lasagna at Pallino Pastaria.)

I don't remember going to the Isle!

At the Village was a really cool fountain. Totally goofy as we are, Watoad and I decided to imitate the metal sculpture "argument" he and Suffix had when they met.

Of course, we couldn't stop laughing, either. I kept busting up, saying, "What are we even 'arguing' about, anyway?"

Eventually we said goodbye, and I stayed with my friend for the rest of the trip. All in all, the whole trip was a blast. I'd definitely like to go back sometime.

What I found really funny is how loud and obnoxious Watoad and I were compared to Suffix (and my friend, as well), especially once the cameras started rolling. If any of you ever get the chance to meet Watoad or Suffix, do so!

Hope you enjoyed catching a glimpse of my awesome vacation!
